orange red yellow wedding bouquet

For those awaiting the pictures sorry for the delay:-)Finally it's all done hopefully.

Now here is the order for Jenn,it was a much awaited order I was dying to do becoz of the lovely color scheme.Jenn had ordered her wedding bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquet in brightly colored flower. She sent me her invite and told me her theme were those colors. It was a challenge to get it right-in the end after a lot of mixing and matching I hope I got it right:-).Jenn was awesome and allowed me to change my mind a bit :-)

The bridal bouquet is below!!!

the brides maids hold hot pink dahlias, red mums, orangy yellow lilies and golden yellow daisies. All wrapped in red ribbon.

Check out the wrist corsages for the mom's :-) It has 3 colored flowers and I switched the ribbon to hot pink as the bright red was a bit too much on the eye..

The groom and dad's wear all the 4 flowers made into a boutonnieres accented with some velvet leaves.

The ushers have single flowers of the bridesmaids.

The aunts and uncles have an orange daisy finished of with hot pink ribbon and to spice it up I added a yellow rickrack tie to them.

Leisa - composite wedding flowers

As you might have seen below Leisa had ordered the flowers for her wedding to match the tattoo on her shoulder of a black peony. Her order was unique and new and wow how unique and new it has turned out. This wedding is going to be a stunner :-) There are too many flower in my house in riots of colors so I thought I will just need to ship some away to make room in my room!!!

These flower are made in a unique manner which is a new unique technique I developed in paper using a technique different from how the usual fresh compisite flowers are made..I am sure I will be exploring more aspects of this design further -all credits to Liesa for her great ideas on the color combos.

The flowers for the bouquet will be red/cream/black.

The throw bouquet flowers are there is pink/grey/black -sooo elegant.

The groom's boutonniere has a velvet leaf and and 2 feathers,
while the best man has a cream/grey/black composite flower.

I found this nice printed ribbon which just went so well with the composites that I used it -(I am crossing my finger that Liesa will like it too :-)) The ushers have grey peonies all wrapped in a printed ribbon and a small black ribbon ties on the stems.

The wrist corsages turned out extremely well,
I used a large flower and some vintage velvet leaves and ribbons and fillers and lo behold I have a GORGEOUS wrist corsage which I am sure is going the be a great hit.The ribbon just gels with the flowers! Great find :-)

jenn sampler

Here is a sampler I am working on for Jenn - Bright and fun!.

vintage wedding bouquet

Courtney had ordered a grey and cream wedding nosegay of ranunculus and poppies,I thought since it was a vintage themed wedding I asked her is I could include some orange blossoms are they were looking lovely together and aptly fit her theme.

The bouquet is a nosegay which has turned quite pretty and refreshing! The bouquet has grey poppies, cream ranunculus, orange blossoms,a bit of twirls of feathers and I added a nice ivory ribbon beneath to give it a nice vintage finish. The bouquet is finished off with a green ribbon which was going better with the bouquet.
