Paper Orchids

A few days ago I made some white moth orchids and seem to have somehow perfected a very difficult but gorgeous flower I love the most.

These flower can be used as a hair pin,headbands,floral arrangements as a topper on your favor boxes. Paper Orchids

Feathers have made a comeback and I finally made a hair piece out of satin (can be made into a corsage) with white goose feathers,

an orange satin gardenia and and some feathers!

Since I am interested in concept of floral arrangements,I thought I would write an entry on Amaranthus aka the droopy flowers you see on scene this year.Here is a picture of them in a lovey arrangement done by DesignsByErnest! They provide good eye candy and works well to ehance a design! They come in a variety of shades...

Succelent Wreaths have been in my head for a long time!

I saw one of these succulent wreaths on Martha and I have been hooked, always wished to make one,never had the time to do so,have no clue if it will survive here, (CT)

would be a great idea for brides,an eco friendly concept???as a centerpiece?

Here is the blue paper poppies,carnations,daisies!

I was working on an order for blue paper flowers,here are my creations,there are different shades of blue poppies,violet daisies,lavender poppies,assorted carnations in blue,green and lavender.Anemones are the latest rage now as seen is all the bridal magazines so I had been setting my eyes on them for a long time to make them.Finally I did.! Blue is a lovely shade to work with I think.

new orange paper poppy and purple pansy for sample

a sample request from Connie McCoy set my creative juices running,she wanted to match a orange poppy she had and wanted purple centers,here is what I did for her a purple pansy and ornage and yellow poppy with purple centers.

new mini satin lily


I created for a cake topper some mini calla lilies in orange satin,turned out gorgeous,she loveed them,they have promised photos of the arrangements,can't wait to see it!
