Handmade Forget me nots wedding cake topper bird nest in blue

forget me not
I used some my all time favorite forget me nots -(the flowers are so intricately made that it take loads of time to finish them) in my bird nest (which btw is also handmade) for a blue wedding cake topper. This would be gorgeous a top a cake for a garden wedding! Seprate bunches of forget me nots can be ordered. What more I can totally see this resting somewhere special after the wedding as lasting memories of the day!

forget me nots
Forget me not wedding cake topper! I have been in a bit of creative splurges :-) and guilty of having not concentrated on my "to do" orders - anyway here is what I have created lately.

bouquet recreations samplers

A first anniversary gift - I have been behind and have a rocking cold thanks to the crazy weather here so things are going slow.

Here are some samplers for Lee of the bouquet that I am going to be tying soon. Some orchids are to be added and I am working on that.

fall wedding flowers!!!

Fall weddings are beautiful with the gorgeous color scheme - Jayne had ordered a fall wedding bouquets for herself and the bridesmaids for her Oct 10th wedding. She is allergic to flowers!! She had initially enquired for a garland for the chuppah and I totally jumped at the chance to create one for her..

paper flower garland

The wedding bouquet has orange paper lilies, sangria dahlias, red roses and yellow ranunculus.I added a few green fillers, the bridesmaids are wearing this dress.

The bridesmaids get these bouquet -mix of all the flowers. The corsages has a lily,a rose and ranunculus. The men wear orange paper rose boutonierres!!

AND FINALLY here is the master piece -(I am dreading packing this) the Garland,I went WAY more than them budget but anyway hope it is beautiful enough for the wedding-oh how I would love to get a picture of this on the chuppah :-))

on a side note -the silver vase arrangement is for mediabrandsww for their first anniversary!

The garland consist of large paper roses in sangria, orange large dahlias(a new additon btw) and pops of yellow and red all tied in with dried green salal leaves a total of 10 feet in length.A labor of love..I think it going to be first of many orders to come..imagien other color scheme.I was thinking Jayne can easily take this off the chuppah and use it as a garland to decorate the bride and groom table..

Gardenia wedding bouquet

Here is the order that Therese ordered a gardenia wedding bouquet. The bouquet has turned out quite beautiful.I had received these new leaves which I thought when added gave the bouquet a more natural look.I added some vines and found it lacked a bling factor and so added some pearl (gardenias and pearl go so well together!)
and here is the result.Therese wanted turquoise ribbon and a bow.
I am crossing my finger on this:-)

Gardenia wedding bouquet with pink dahlias

I have been busy with some wedding orders and trying to get them out for March weddings!
Nicole had ordered for a wedding bouquet of pale pink dahlias and gardenias and here is what I made for here. She had like my pink dahlia paper flower bouquet but said she would like to add the gardenia's.She is the UK and will be flying out here for her wedding. The bouquet features clay gardenia, pale pink dahlia and I added some pink gorgeous bead fillers and pearls. The bouquet has a marabou feather cuff and wrapped with a deep blue ribbon.I added a sheer ribbon bow too.Nicole wanted to remember her loved one and mailed me a bouquet pin to add to the handle.
The bridesmaids hold pink dahlia with marabou feather fillers.

Nicole I hope you like this!

composite wedding bouquet large flowers

Composite wedding bouquet are well sought after nowadays and has been featured in the birdal magazines again - a new revival of the old victorian tradition. What a coincidence that last Spring I made one in white! Sarah had ordered these large hot pink flowers and here is what I made for her.

The order has 2 5 inches flower girls flowers -4 bridesmaids at 6 to 7 inches and Sarahs is at 8 inches. She is think ing of adding fresh leaves to it once close to her wedding date.

The bouquets have satin wrap on the handmade handle.
These flowers took me a "ridiculous" amount of time just due to the fact that I added just LOTS of petals for the wow factor!
