glamelia bouquet for a canadian bride! crepe paper flower wedding

Glamelia's are an old tradition and soo beautiful and here is an order for a 13 inch glamelia  in crepe paper! I have done a few of the glamelia wedding bouquets before and they take a huge amount of time and patience and it is indeed worth the effort and how I would love to get back pictures of the bride holding this!

I was thinking it would be awesome to do some in pastel shades,enjoy the pictures!

Easy Paper Flower Topper Tutorial

It has been a busy and blessed season here and we have a wonderful tutorial from BlossomsAndPosies but before that  here are some eye candy for you of my Christmas gifts I gave this time.I tried to do handmade gifts.A gorgeous white peony and anemone arrangement laced with some succulents. 

A poppy based arrangements this time it is all artificial to match a poppy painting hanging in my uncle's room.Some Hair flowers for cousins..

A bouquet recreation for Boyd of paper calla lillies! Each flower is handshaded to create the recreation. Boyd mailed me the same ribbon he had saved from the orginal wedding bouquet,I have used the same ribbon.Wishing them a very happy anniversary evne though it is belated!

All white everlasting wedding bouquet

I had an order for another stephanotis wedding bouquet! The client was special since she comes from my same hometown! ha! what a small world :-) The bouquet has lots and lots of flowers and each crystal is handstuck! took lots and lots of time! lol!

A black and white wedding bouquet of paper anemones.The bride holds a white anemone bouquet tied with a pleated ribbon.



The bridesmaid holds a bouquet with 3 large anemone with fillers.

The mom's have a 3 flower corsage

and the fathers a single anemone.The groom's boutonierre has a velvet leaf finished of with a black stiched edge ribbon!

Wedding cake topper in clay - white peony

I had a order via Etsy for a large white peony wedding cake topper for Paula.She also wanted 7 gardenias for all her bridesmaids! What a gorgeous sight it would be!








It was the first time I was making a clay peony -I usually make the large anemone so I liked doing an peony for a change and I am sure this is going to be frequent seller again! I just love doing custom flowers.. The peony has white stamens in the center and is really make a statement on its own beign 6 to 7 inches big!!! It will sit regally atop a wedding cake and I really dont think you dont need anything else besides this flower!

A black and white wedding !

Christi had emailed me and requested if I could make for her wedding the bouquet and of course it was anemones that she wanted.Now we are planning to a combination of both.The order has 3 mother's bouquets which I finished up yesterday.


There are 3 a bit larger paper anemone with some berries which I added as it was looking soo pretty together(hope christi likes this as we had orginally planned no filler)I finished it off with some paper ribbon to match the paper flowers :-) and the handle is all black satin!

The boutonierres are single anemones with no fillers again wrapped in black satin.

The cakes flowers are also done but I didn't get time to photograph that - more coming up in the next post.

Red paper roses and gardenia for a wedding

I have a large order for a wedding from Nancy Her order consists of gardenia,red paper roses and yellow and orange poppies.

I recieved an order from Jessica for a white hair flower for her wedding and also a flower for her dress.She said she would mail me a brooch she had and requested if I could make it the center of the flower,the brooch is just gorgeous and hence the flower came out sooo pretty
