For those awaiting the pictures sorry for the delay:-)Finally it's all done hopefully.

Now here is the order for Jenn,it was a much awaited order I was dying to do becoz of the lovely color scheme.Jenn had ordered her wedding bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquet in brightly colored flower.She sent me her invite and told me her theme were those colors.It was a challenge to get it right-in the end after a lot of mixing and matching I hope I got it right:-).Jenn was awesome and allowed me to change my mind a bit :-)

The bridal bouquet is below!!!


the brides maids hold hot pink dahlias,red mums,orangy yellow lilies and golden yellow daisies.All wrapped in red ribbon.









Check out the wrist corsages for the mom's :-) It has 3 colored flowers and I switched the ribbon to hot pink as the bright red was a bit too much on the eye..




The groom and dad's wear all the 4 flowers made into a boutonnieres accented with some velvet leaves.




The ushers have single flowers of the bridesmaids.


The aunts and uncles have an orange daisy finished of with hot pink ribbon and to spice it up I added a yellow rickrack tie to them.

paper peonies wedding bouquet

Here is the wedding bouquet for Celeste of peonies,tulips and roses in ivory and yellow and white.

I was hoping to match the dress and tie the bridesmaids bouquets.I left out the darker tone of yellow.The bouquet has an ostrich feather trim -(hope no one has allergies -dont want anyone sneezing through the ceremony :-)) - looks very beautiful -now the only thing missing is the groom's boutonierre which is a gardenia and fillers.

The bouquet for Celeste is finally getting together (thank you Celeste for your patience)- I was waiting for some leaves.Here are the bridesmaids bouquet - the bouquets look exquisite with velvet vintage leaves made in 1960's!! and gorgeous feathers as the wrap!

Very different from what I usually do.



Here is Celeste's dress (beautiful) and I kept that in mind all the time -I hope the bridal bouquet matches this!











The handle looks just lovely doesn't it? The colors and the trim go soo well together -it has a regal touch just like the dress.

A black and white wedding !

Christi had emailed me and requested if I could make for her wedding the bouquet and of course it was anemones that she wanted.Now we are planning to a combination of both.The order has 3 mother's bouquets which I finished up yesterday.


There are 3 a bit larger paper anemone with some berries which I added as it was looking soo pretty together(hope christi likes this as we had orginally planned no filler)I finished it off with some paper ribbon to match the paper flowers :-) and the handle is all black satin!

The boutonierres are single anemones with no fillers again wrapped in black satin.

The cakes flowers are also done but I didn't get time to photograph that - more coming up in the next post.

wedding Gardenia bouquet

The clay wedding bouquet looks likes ,I used a staggered approach rather than creating a rounded bouquet and added some vine and folded leaves.Nancy had a lovely idea she just wanted the stems of gardenia tied together and she wanted a dozen gardenia separate.What she plans is to give them to her family and they would come up and give it to her to add to her bouquet - a nice touch of including the family in the wedding!

The bouquet is not yet complete.I have tied a blue ribbon bow to it!


The mother in law likes red roses so we thought we would create a red rose corsage for her - havent yet added the ribbons to it..





The ring cushion has these: 2 large gardenias and bud.

Wedding paper flower bouquet for Desiree of dahlias,dogwoods and cyclamen

The wedding paper flower bouquet I made for Desiree is complete.The bouquet looks soo real that if Desiree does not tell anyone it's paper many people are going to get fooled by the flowers!






I made the paper flower bouquet with burgundy dahlias and hand shaded plum dahlias.The bridesmaids hold hand shaded calla lilies with DECO clay dogwoods and cyclamens.


I finished off all the bouquets with burgundy ribbon and added a button to the bow to add a bit of 'wow' factor:-)


She requested a red poppy for the groom as he is a soldier (who served in Iraq!!!) so I created it in DECO clay.Added a bit of feathers and a Velvet leaves.The 3 ushers have a orange blossom boutonniere as in DECO Clay! They turned out sooo beautiful and real.

handmade wedding bouquet dahlia and doogwood in burgundy and plum

I was trying get my bridal wedding bouquet done and here are the pictures! The wedding bouquet has burgundy dahlia and plum dahlia also which turned out really good.At first I just wasn't satisfied with how it looked as I wanted to "hit this one out of box" as it's a combination rarely requested! After fretting and praying about it I think I got it right when I added the plum accents.





more coming ,lots to done,I am already behind schedule! My little daughter (3 yrs)has been upto mischief and has a big laceration after being cut on broken glass :-( on the hand so things are going slow here!!

Something Blue Wedding Bouquet

Something Blue wedding bouquet of white roses and forget me nots,here are more pictures with the finished handle! I have now to get it ready and get ontoto my next order of peach hair flowers for another brides.











It's getting to be super busy here with all the snow that's heaping up here in the East Coast and everyone being at home all the time!!!.

Forget me not flowers and white roses in DECOclay for wedding bouquet

I had a order from a Canadian brides a few weeks ago for a blue forget me not flowers and white roses wedding bouquet and boutonierre I made them in floral clay.
Here are the pictures!The bouquet had 2 dozen white roses and blue forget me nots which took more time than I estimated as each flower is soo tiny and detailed.Anyway it turned out really well.The grooms boutonieere has a rose and blue forget me nots and some spotted feathers and a velvet leaves to add a touch of whimsy to it!
