The gardenia is made from a special floral clay -very durable and not breakable...It is adorned with 3 vintage leaves to add a tounch of elegance.Would be a lasting reminder of the event for a long time to come! I think they would be great accessories for bridesmaids too for a budget wedding..

Gardenia wedding cake topper pictures from Lindsey

Another wedding cake picture post! Lindsey has emailed me and asked me if I could make for her some gardenias for the wedding cake, initially since I was soo booked for Aug/Sept I told her I was not sure then I felt bad (hate dissapointing people)and just some how squeezed her order in and it was well worth it

Wow how lovely does the cake look???? The leaf idea was Lindseys and full credits to her for the idea as it give a fuller and fresher look than the usual plain white ribboned gardenia cake I have seen!

Lindsey is one of the sweetest brides that I have come across ,she sent these pictures of the gardenia cake and her wedding! (most brides in the "after wedding" buzz forget...luckily for me both Christina(see post below) and Lindsey remembered!)

Let me tell how grateful I am to the brides who take the time to mail me the pictures, makes all the late nights sitting up worth it! Thank you Lindsey!

Cake Bird Topper Nest

A wedding cake bird nest topper was custom requested by a client! The bird's nest is handmade! It took a lot of time but it was worth the handmade look I feel.

I had the idea of an arch for the topper and hadn't gotten down to doing to it so when when the request was made I was grinning from ear to ear as it was precisely what I had in mind. The bride's colors were navy blue, burgundy and green,I added velvet leaves in those colors and she requested orange bloossoms,I found a nice branch which I strung on the arch and the birds (how cute are they???) simply put the quaint look on it!

Hope you like it!

stephanotis purple and lavendar wedding bouquet for Tam

I have been working on Tam's order as you can see.Tam is a wonderful bride I feel, she was very flexible (takes off a lot of pressure on my side) and so I felt this bouqet came out very very beautiful and I could choose what went well.

Tam had very very beautiful choices of orange berries, purples flowers and blue forget not, willows, stephanotis.Trust me I was thrilled to read her order enquiry and her combo and jumped right into it as I just knew the combinations was awesome! So Tam all credits to you!

For the purple flowers I chose were dahalias, clematis, ranunculus -one of the best paper dahlias I have ever made I feel.. and one of my best bouquets I have made in paper! I am sure Tam is going to get many Q's like "this is paper?" like I always do at home when guest come..The willow I used brown curly ones and by stroke of luck I saw purple berries -ha -what luck! just a perfect match for everything.

The grooms bout has orange berries, willows, stephanotis finished of with a sheer ribbon.I added a contrast tie of purple, just to add a pop.

The corsages have 3 stephanotis, willows, finsihed with 2 colored ribbons!

The bouts have berries and have the purple ties too!

Tam I really hope you will not forget to send me the pictures please..I would like to see how the flowers looked for the wedding for the design point of view.Pictures of the wedding helps a lot especially let me know what works and what does not.
