anemone hair flower for melanie

I have so many backed up orders I am going nuts here:-),so for 2 weeks or more I will not be taking any new orders for Aug/Sept/Oct as they all have been booked up.The flowers are handmade and do require time -I hate to do them quickly :-) so any pending orders,I do really appreciate your patience...It's been the first year I have turned down orders!

Here is a hair flower I did for Melanie -it's paper anemone -I feel anemones are such a beautiful flower and the paper lend a certain touch of elegence to it.

Christina had ordered the red anemone for her wedding bouquet as well as white for the bridesmaids.


It's turned out lovely,my photographic skills are not that great and for that the pictures look quite fabulous -I can't even image what a professionals might look like :-) (hope christina will sent me some)

The red really pops out and the nice stems was a very good decision I think.Just make the bouquet so much elegant.



The bridesmaids hold white anemones with a nice blue wrap with criss crossed ribbon.

Pink anemone wedding bouquet for Christi.

I just finished up the pink anemone bouquet for Christi in clay,it islooking very beautiful.The bouquet has different shades of pink anemones and pink sweet peas as filer just as the bouquet Christi had requested,it is cinched with a black velvet ribbon which adds a real touch of elegance.I found a peice of heirloom lace and I just thought I should be adding that too!!

Anemones are very delicate flowers and have to be shipped in from Holland and will burn a big hole in pocket,clay bouquets are a cost effective option and of course will be a hierloom to pass down of you special day.

Anemone wedding week here at St Jude's Creations!

This week has been full of anemones,each week my house if so full of different color ranges of flowers and this week it was all black and white and red!




I has this anemone bouquet in black and white plus I had another order for the anemone toppers I have.So here are the pictures!




The client who liked the anemone topper also like my boutonierres and so shesaid she wanted a simple anemone flower boutounierre!

Anemone Wedding Cake Topper revisited for bouquets

I have been requested many times to make anemones wedding bouquets for brides.Anemones wedding cakes are the latest now in the bridal scene and I have about 3 bookings this spring for bridal bouquets with them and anemone wedding cake topper.I am really looking forward in making them.Here is the picture I think about 5 brides have forwarded me a very nicely decorated set of cakes.

Today I had an urgent request from a bride's wedding coordinator whose baker suddenly stood up on them and she asked if I could do a large anemone flower for the bride's cake.Th flower would be the only flower atop the cake and lo and behold she forwarded me the same picture! I thought I would give it a try in decorative clay and here is the result
Mind you the flower is 5 to 6 inches across! Here is my listing for it at Anemone cake

I liked the idea very much especially for a bride on a budget! I think I need to find a cake "form" from somewhere to take pictures of flowers atop it.Right now my simple paper box will have to do:-)

I got an order from Stephanie through etsy for an order of a green and pink paper flower wedding bouquet of anemones.

Paper Flower Bouquets are becoming more popular as brides use paper flowers as centerpieces,so a paper flower bouquet would match the "Paper" theme.

Just got down to making it and here are the pictures.The bouquet consists of more than a dozen green and pink anemones with some pink,green and white fillers in between.Her wedding colors are seafoam green,mint green and pastel pinks.Hope she likes this!
